Did you know that it is normal to lose about 80-100 hairs per day. On average, the scalp has 100,000 hairs that cycle through periods of growing, resting, falling out, and regenerating.

About 85% is constantly in the growing (anagen) stage and 10% in the resting (telogen) stage. For that reason, it is completely normal for  about 80-100 hair to fall out everyday! This can be during a hair wash, using conditioner, hair drying, hair oiling, brushing etc.

Hair loss is when you notice a sudden increase in hair loss, bald patches or thinning of the hair. There are many different types of hair losses and the cause usually determines the treatment. Sometimes, hair loss shampoos and supplements won't treat your hair loss. Treatment depends on the cause of hair loss and also a lot of focus on stimulating the scalp to promote a healthy environment for your hair to grow.
